We are a private equity real estate firm dedicated to helping busy professionals build wealth through passive multifamily investments.

Homeka Capital, LLC is a privately held investment firm focused on multifamily real estate. We bring together individual investors seeking diversified exposure to apartment assets in resilient markets with strong economic fundamentals.
We target opportunities where value can be created through operational discipline and long term stewardship. Our underwriting process is intentionally conservative and designed to assess downside risk first, enabling us to pursue calculated opportunities while protecting investor capital.

Vavia pursued her higher education in the United States, graduating from BYU Hawaii, and entered the construction industry immediately after graduation. Over the past 15 years, she has built extensive experience across multiple operational and corporate roles, spanning administration, accounting, human resources, payroll to name a few. This breadth of experience provides Homeka Capital with strong internal controls, operational oversight, and attention to detail across all aspects of the business.
She has since transitioned into facilities management, further deepening her expertise in asset operations, building performance, and long-term property functionality, an important complement to Homeka Capital’s investment and asset management strategy.
Vavia has been passionate about real estate investing since her twenties, initially investing in single-family properties before recognizing the scalability, efficiency, and long term advantages of multifamily real estate. Her background allows her to approach investing with both an owner’s mindset and an operator’s discipline.

With over 25 years of experience across both residential and commercial construction, Dan has worked in diverse markets throughout New Zealand, Australia, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, and Guam. His career includes hands-on residential building, large scale commercial construction, crane operation, foreman leadership, and construction management. This progression through the field gives him a comprehensive understanding of building systems, renovation feasibility, capital planning, and execution risk.

Our Core Values
Integrity
We do what's right always. Our commitment to honesty and transparency builds lasting trust.
Relationship
We invest in people first. Genuine connections drive long-term success.
Accountability & Service
We own our outcomes and serve with purpose. Every action reflects our dedication to excellence.
Excellence
We pursue the highest standards relentlessly. Precision, performance, and progress define our path.
The name Homeka is deeply personal.
It’s formed from the two first letters taken from our children’s names, a reminder that everything we build is anchored in family, responsibility, and long-term thinking. Home, for us, is not just a structure, it’s security, stability, and the foundation for a meaningful life.
The “O”, represented by a koru carved from a pounamu (New Zealand greenstone). Dan’s roots trace back to New Zealand, where the koru is a powerful symbol of new beginnings and continuous growth. Pounamu adds a deeper meaning of protection, strength, and enduring value.
Together, pounamu koru represents:
Growth that is grounded and safeguarded
Deliberate, resilient progress, never rushed
Capital that is protected first, then allowed to grow
Value that deepens over time, not fades
Honoring what came before while building forward
That philosophy shapes how we invest.
At Homeka Capital, we focus on protecting investor capital first, then allowing it to grow intentionally over time. We partner with experienced operators and bring together investors who want access to multifamily commercial space they may not be able to pursue on their own all while remaining truly hands off.
When you invest with Homeka Capital, you’re investing alongside our family, our capital, and our values. We don’t chase hype or shortcuts. We pursue thoughtful growth, strong fundamentals, and assets that can support families including our own through every stage of life.
If it doesn’t honor the koru, we don’t pursue it.
At Homeka Capital, you invest alongside us, our family, our capital, and our commitment to doing things the right way.
